1 Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using Dream Decoder Pro ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dream Decoder Pro. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time with notice provided through the App or by email.
2 Description of Service
Dream Decoder Pro is a sleep tracking and AI-powered dream analysis application that:
- Records audio during sleep sessions via your device microphone.
- Analyzes sounds, speech patterns, and sleep behaviors using artificial intelligence.
- Generates interpretive insights, dream summaries, and subconscious analysis reports.
- Stores your sleep history and allows playback of your recorded sleep audio.
3 User Accounts
You must create an account to use the App. By creating an account, you agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
- Maintain the security of your account credentials and not share them with others.
- Promptly notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.
- Not use another person's account without their express permission.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
4 Free Trial & Subscriptions
- Free Trial: New users receive a 5-day free trial with access to basic features including up to 3 stored recordings. No credit card required to start.
- Pro Subscription: Paid monthly or annually. Includes unlimited recordings, unlimited session history, full AI insights, and priority support.
- Billing: Subscriptions are processed through RevenueCat via Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Charges occur at the start of each billing period.
- Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then.
- Refunds: Refund requests are governed by Apple App Store or Google Play Store refund policies.
Free plan storage: Free users may store up to 3 sessions. When this limit is reached, the oldest session will be automatically deleted after 7 days' notice. Upgrade to Pro to keep all your dreams forever.
5 Acceptable Use
By using Dream Decoder Pro, you agree NOT to:
- Record any person without their full knowledge and explicit consent.
- Use the App for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable local, national, or international law.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the App's source code or AI models.
- Circumvent subscription paywalls or attempt to access Pro features without a valid paid subscription.
- Upload, process, or generate content that is harmful, abusive, defamatory, or violates third-party rights.
- Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers, infrastructure, or security systems.
⚠️ Recording Laws: Audio recording laws vary by jurisdiction. In some regions, all parties being recorded must consent. You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of the App complies with the laws of your location.
6 AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Dream analysis, subconscious insights, and all AI-generated content produced by Dream Decoder Pro are created by artificial intelligence and are intended solely for entertainment and personal self-reflection purposes.

7 Audio Recording Consent
By activating a sleep session in Dream Decoder Pro, you explicitly consent to your device microphone recording audio in your environment for the duration of the session.
You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring that all individuals present in the recording environment have provided informed consent to be recorded.
- Complying with all applicable wiretapping, eavesdropping, and audio recording laws in your jurisdiction.
- The content of any recordings made using the App.
8 Intellectual Property
All App content, design, code, trademarks, and AI models are the intellectual property of Dream Decoder Pro and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain full ownership of your personal audio recordings. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process your audio data solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We do not claim ownership of your recordings.
9 Limitation of Liability
Dream Decoder Pro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or recordings.
- Sleep quality outcomes or health consequences.
- Decisions made in reliance on AI-generated insights.
- Unauthorized access to your account or recordings.
10 Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the App, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation.
You may delete your account at any time through App Settings → Account → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
11 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the competent courts of the applicable jurisdiction, as required by law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
